Generation Japanese, Chapter Seven

Hello, and welcome back to the Around the World legacy, or, in Japanese, 世界中 (Sekaijū).

Last time, I took so many pictures that I needed to split the wedding into a separate post, and Vivian and Iella were married.

Click on any picture to make it larger!

The happy couple returned to their hope for a well deserved rest.
That night, Iato and Domingo had their first (accidental) child, a boy named Sergio.

When I checked on everyone else, Imogen was floating in the middle of the air and everything I told her to do just disappeared out of her cue. Fortunately, a resetsim fixed it.

Ella: Who's birthday is it? Why do they get a cake and not me?

It's Jin's birthday, now play nice and cheer for the neglected ginger kid, okay?

Jin grows up... rather pretty, I think. Kind of plain, though.

After the birthday, I sent Jin and Ginny out to go meet their cousins. Remember, Isola and Topher have three kids: Wade (teen), Pedro (child) and Torrey (infant).

Only Wade and Torrey were home, though.

Jin: Think about it, bro. In another life you could be the legacy kid and I could be the cousin you go to visit.
Wade was unimpressed with Jin'ai.

When Wade went for a potty break, Jin noticed something standing in the corner. He picked up the guitar and started to play with it.

When Wade returned he couldn't believe it.
Wade: Put that down! It's my mum's!
Ginny: Maybe we should go, Jin.
Jin: Good idea... Hey, Vivian is right next door at the club, right...?

Vivian was at the club trying to impress celebrities. Nina Caliente was the only celebrity there, so she went to work.

Outside...
Ginny: I don't think you're supposed to touch that.
Jin: Trust me, it's fine.

Ginny: Hey, you're actually kind of good at this big brother.

Ginny: I want to be just like you when I grow up.

Inside, Vivi got her first star!

Ella was still trying to achieve her opportunity to talk to this guy (Joshue). He was a one star celebrity, so by the end of the night she had one star too!

Ella: Please, please just tell me about the use of lab-time.
Joshue: Throw me a party.

While everyone else was out, Joy stayed home and flirted with Lucky some more. She's a really interesting sim to play, since she's evil, insane, unlucky, and nurturing. I think it could really be fun to have her as heiress, but she's so similar to her mum in looks...

I got a notification around this time that Indy and Nina broke up. Indy started to flirt with Jin Ae Kahm, but ended up going steady with Bella Goth.

Oh, the elders stayed home too (until Immy and H went to work) but Coke was working the entire time so it wasn't too interesting.

When they got home, I had a little birthday surprise for Jin.

He looks pretty cool with it.

Since she can't top charisma without any more friends, when she's home Vivi works out or plays chess.

And then I decided to redo the house, since we had about $70,000 saved up from Coke's royalties, etc.

I merged Jin's room and the nursery to expand for future generations of babies.

I made a basement level beneath that...

With a stage and dance floor...

And also some seating.

Also in the basement is Jin's new bedroom.

It's pretty much exactly the way it was upstairs, but a little larger.

The renovations will (hopefully) make it easier for the next generation to expand.

Kostya, you're cute, and I want to make you real, but your stalking is kind of creepy.

More news about spares: Isola and Topher are expecting another accidental baby.

I sent Vivian out to search for celebrities again, since somehow Ella has two stars and Vivi has lost her one star. There were no celebrities at the sports bar, however, so she settled in for a bit of a drink before moving on.

Vivi: I love a dirty cheerleader.
*banned4life*

I decided to let her stick around and make some friends that weren't famous. She played this weird game with a fellow named Jam Drow-Raspberry.

Please breed.

I let Ella go join Vivian, since she was wandering around town anyway (I forget why).

Her nose really did not age well. Ella, darling, you look so tired.
Ella: I had three kids before I was even fully an adult and didn't get married until the youngest was already a child. In a few days I'll have three teenagers and my wife is barely out of her teens herself.
Okay, fair enough.

Once Vivi was done of her game with Jam she rolled a wish to watch the stars with Ella, so I let them, and they chose this romantic car park to do it in.

Ella: See, if you look closely, you can see the folks from boolprop watching us.

Ginny is a virtuoso (mooch, virtuoso, unlucky) so I thought I'd have her join Jin's band when she's a teen, but she's been rolling wants to paint so I figured, why not, until she's old enough for something else.
In other news, imaginary friends are creepy.

I had Ella throw a small house party and invite Joshue, since that was apparently the next step of the opportunity. Issy showed up, and she's not even showing yet! She is pregnant again, though.

The party was a disaster, mostly because she ignored all her guests, but it seemed to have worked for the opportunity. All that's left is to report in.

Ella rolled the wish to spend $10,000 remodeling the house, and I'd been meaning to turn the grandparents' room into a proper study and give them a nicer bedroom in the basement, so I took the opportunity to do it.

There's space for someone to do homework in here, and now there are two computers instead of just one that Coke always hogs.

We've also got reading chairs and bookcases!

Downstairs, I gave the grandparents their own little suite. They have three single beds on one side...

And a little changing area on the other, with a dresser and mirror, but also a bookcase and sofa.

Hello family tv time again! I think I could re-do this room to be more conducive to a big family watching tv together, but they need more money in the bank for this. All in all the renovations this chapter have cost the family $50,000.

Coke seems to like his new study, though. I think it was worth it just to get those white walls out of there.

And now... it's time for Ginny to grow up!

Ginny: I'm going to be old enough to play an instrument now, right?
That's right.

Woo, party time! I didn't bother to throw a real party, but the family's big enough that it's sort of like a party, yeah?

At this moment I got a slew of notifications:

Bran and Soo Jin Kahm-Starr had their accidental baby, a girl named Carey. Soo Jin is still the slayer, in case you forgot (like I did).

Wade is still dating Lilith Pleasant. Pedro is no longer the bully, now that he's grown up to teen. Torrey is a toddler now.

I... err... have a new favorite.

I spent forever on her outfit, so I'm going to show it to you right away. Isn't it AWESOME?!

Okay, so at this point I was going to have an heir poll, but then I had an idea. Ginny and Jin are going to form a band, why don't I make them double heirs and have them both stick around for a while?

Thoughts? Should I name Ginny heiress, have double heirs, have a poll, or do something else entirely? Please let me know what you think!
