Generation Danish, Chapter Seven

Hello, and welcome to the new Around the World Legacy. Or, in Danish, Rundt Om I Verden.
In this legacy, each generation will be named a word starting with their letter from a language starting with that letter; so a sim from generation D could be named Dato, the Danish word for Date.

Last time on the Around the World Legacy, Chyba got her LTW, and I promised you birthdays and the heir(ess).

First up, it's Dyr's birthday! Dyr is...

...not the heir. Goodbye, Dyr. He moves out.

Down in the nectar cellar, Bihotz and Lemon share a bottle of nectar. Why? Well, they're both getting old, they maxed their life bars and have been living on borrowed time for several days, so I figured they could afford to take a break from skilling and enjoy each other's company for a while.

Aw, old people love!

And not a moment too soon. Lemon woke up that night feeling all tingly, and the grim reaper arrives to take her away! Everyone was heartbroken.

Goodbye, Lemon Alphabetacy. You will be missed.

Everyone has their own way of coping. Chyba paints while waiting to be allowed on her next vacation.

Ameen works off his frustration.

Dårlig writes until her fingers hurt. She's churning out a book a night (non-fiction books are short and fast and she's accumulated a lot of money in royalties).

Dommer and Dør play a game of chess.

And Bihotz fishes all alone until dawn.

Dør's birthday comes at a very sad time for the Alphabetacy family. She is...

...very pretty, but not the heiress. She moves out.

Just one day after the love of his life died, Bihotz woke feeling tingly and knew it was time. He cried for her as he was dying! It was so, so sweet.

Goodbye, Bihotz Alphabetacy, our re-founder. Bihotz is survived by his six children and four grandchildren. Along with Lemon, he began this family again after the horrible blue-ness ate my game and I was forced to re-install. He will be missed.

Do I even have to show you what happened next? Chyba went to France and cried about her dead parents to strangers. She also found out that Dårlig's father died since the last time she was there, and cried about that for a bit too. She also completed the adventure that she needed to from China, and got another one that required her return to Egypt. I guess two more vacations are a requirement.

But first... she went relic hunting and saved up until she could buy this vacation home. It's a little huge for her needs, and far away from town, but it's a nice place!

Upon her return home, Chyba runs off to work. Ameen goes to work, and Dommer goes to school, leaving Dårlig to celebrate her birthday all alone. Dårlig is...

...not alone! Lemon's ghost stayed out longer than usual just to help her celebrate her birthday. How sweet. Now, Dårlig is...

...Temperance Brennan. *ahem* No, really! Dårlig is the heiress.

I love her. I couldn't stop snapping pictures of her. I was a little worried when Dør grew up so pretty, but I couldn't be happier with my choice. Dårlig is heiress!

And yes, this is where I'm leaving you. Tune in next time for the beginnings of Generation Estonian!

Generation Danish, Chapter Six

Hello, and welcome to the new Around the World Legacy. Or, in Danish, Rundt Om I Verden.
In this legacy, each generation will be named a word starting with their letter from a language starting with that letter; so a sim from generation D could be named Dato, the Danish word for Date.

Last time on the Around the World Legacy, Chyba was still trying to achieve her LTW.

Back at home, Dårlig is having her birthday.

She's a gorgeous teen! So much love for her right now...

...so I chain her to the computer.

Chyba is unimpressed by the birthdays back home, and goes on a vacation to France, where she maxes her Visa level and reaches her LTW!

Her return is celebrated with another birthday. Dommer's the last to become a teen.

He's got the whole awkward geek sheik thing going on.

As soon as possible, Chyba's back in China. She's searching for the chance to complete her relic collections. She gets an adventure that requires a trip to France, so she spends the rest of the vacation looking around for what she can find.

She also spends almost all their money on a new vacation home.

Back home again, I built a basement for the nectar (everyone wanted a nectar cellar) and started a crypt as well. It cost the rest of their savings.

Favorite colored curtains frame the pictures and table where the urns will eventually be placed, with candles in their favorite colors as placeholders.

The entrance is hidden beneath the pool house in the back, since there was no space to make stairs down to the basement from inside (and making basements in houses with foundations is annoying!)

Chyba also returned with a complete collection of Zodiac animals.

She also returned with a complete collection of Chinese vases.

These vases are gorgeous! And the other relics Chyba collected were worth nearly enough to pay for the vacation home.
So this is where I leave you. Next time, Chyba will finish her adventures in France (hopefully) and we'll declare an heir(ess)!

Generation Danish, Chapter Five

Hello, and welcome to the new Around the World Legacy. Or, in Danish, Rundt Om I Verden.
In this legacy, each generation will be named a word starting with their letter from a language starting with that letter; so a sim from generation D could be named Dato, the Danish word for Date.

Last time on the Around the World Legacy, Chyba was hurrying to finish her LTW of reaching max visa level in all locations, while her husband raised her four children for her.

However, thanks to glitches, the family had to move out of their home and into a new one. This is the first floor, with a bedroom with three beds, a bathroom, and of course, their pool.

This is the second floor, where they have their living room and kitchen, plus another bathroom.

On the third floor they have three more bathrooms, a nursery with three cribs, a bedroom with two beds, the master bedroom, a bedroom for the grandparents, and a computer room.

To celebrate their new home, it's time for birthdays!

First up is Dør, whose father was from China.

Next is Ameen from Egypt, who aged rather gracefully.

And like that, Chyba's off to China, where she achieves max visa level! What luck! Only two more to go.

Back at home, Dommer's ready to become a child!

For some reason my only shots of him are in his pajamas. His everyday clothes have the Egypt t-shirt, of course.

Not that it matters. Chyba's ready to go on her next vacation, now.

It's off to Egypt where she not only maxes her visa level...

...she also buys an awesome vacation home.

And I leave you with a shot of her first completed collection of relics. Go Chyba, go!
