Generation Danish, Chapter One

Hello, and welcome to the new Around the World Legacy. Or, in Danish, Rundt Om I Verden.
In this legacy, each generation will be named a word starting with their letter from a language starting with that letter; so a sim from generation D could be named Dato, the Danish word for Date.

Last time on the Around the World Legacy, Chyba became heiress and her siblings moved out.

Chyba's LTW is to reach maximum visa level for all three vacation spots, so her first act as heiress is to go to Egypt.

In Egypt she meets Ameer who is, frankly, very pretty. I like pretty things.

Way to go Chyba! It wasn't a mistake making her heiress! She scores her first kiss...

...and that night she has a visitor in her tent. Oh Ameer, was that a lullaby I heard?

Unfortunately, that means she's spent one of her days just seducing a man, and Chyba has to spend the next two running errands and exploring tombs so she can go up a visa level.

She lost the fight with the mummy, but she got a higher visa level anyway.

When she got home, Chyba discovered she had brought home a little more from Egypt than she bargained for!

Chyba makes the most bad ass pregnant woman ever, by the way. Look at those boots and gloves. She's not just sitting around waiting to pop the kid.
Chyba got a job in the law enforcement career before she realized she was pregnant, by the way, but she hasn't gotten to go to even one day yet.

Everyone's enjoying the goodies Chyba brought back from Egypt.

Well, that went fast! Let's welcome the first child of Generation Danish!

It's a boy! We named him Dyr, which means animal in Danish.

Chyba doesn't want to raise her kids, though. She wants to explore. Maybe it's her fear of commitment trait (yeah, I know, right?)

Chyba's off to China, the only place she hasn't been yet.

Just like in Egypt, the first thing she does is find herself a pretty man and try to claim him. He's not single, however, and is a bit harder to catch.

In the end he joins her in her tent, however. Oh Mister Chinese Man Whose Name I Don't Remember? Was that a lullaby?

Regardless, Chyba spends the rest of her vacation doing tasks to raise her visa level, and by the end she's at level 1 in all three countries!

When she gets home she discovers she's pregnant again, who would have guessed? Despite her two parents living with her, Chyba takes care of little Dyr most of the time.

Hey, no fair! We paid our bills, I swear! The repoman steals the fortune cookie maker. They paid good money for that thing, man!

Following the tragic loss of automated fortunes, it's Dyr's birthday.

The size of those yellow eyes is a bit creepy, kid!

Dyr is fully trained by his mother who is now very pregnant with his little brother or sister.

Before little brother or sister can be born, it's (finally) time for Lemon and Bihotz to grow up.

Lemon did not age gracefully. Chyba, is this your future?

Let's hope she's more like her father, who's the most adorable little old man.

Oops, looks like it's time. I'll leave you here. Next time, Chyba gives birth to her baby, continues on her travels, and hopefully finds someone to settle down with? We'll see...

Generation Czech, Chapter Six

Hello, and welcome to the new Around the World Legacy. Or, in Czech, Cesta Kolem Světa.
In this legacy, each generation will be named a word starting with their letter from a language starting with that letter; so a sim from generation C could be named Čína, the Czech word for China.

Last time on the Around the World Legacy, we were hunting for spouses.

Things weren't going so well, everyone was a bit funny looking and not in the way I normally like in a sim.

Back at home, all the kids were calling their chosen mates.

Cvičitel found herself a green boy and we latched onto him as fast as we could. Green genetics are interesting.

Chyba, meanwhile, found a non-green boy and tried to get her first kiss off him, but he rejected her.

Twice.
We decided to dump him after that. She deserves better than that.

Meanwhile, Bihotz stomps some nectar.

And the triplets paint some portraits of their aging parents.

Pretty soon three cakes arrive in the kitchen. Yes, it's time for the triplets to grow up.

Chléb keeps her blue outfit.

Číslo is in green again.

Čaj wears the same outfit but in purple.

Cvičitel is doing really well with her green boy, though her siblings are much less lucky in love.

She invited him back later for a joint birthday party so they could age up together.

What a beautiful girl. I really love her face, and for a moment I considered her for the heir, but I've already made my choice, and it's not her.

So Cvičitel moves out to be with her green prince.

Not much later Časopis is ready to grow up.

He's a pretty handsome young man, and he invited one of the young adults from town to join his party.

They get along very well, and he gets his first kiss from her. However, he's not the heir, so he asks her to leave her husband and he moves in with them.

With some space left in the house, the triplets are looking for boyfriends, but their search is as fruitless as the older three siblings before them.

Číslo does manage to get her first kiss with the red-headed boy, but she's kicked out because of curfew before they can go steady.

Chyba's birthday came up fast, before she could find herself another boy.

She's really quite beautiful, I like her unique face and nose, and of course she's got those yellow eyes. Yes, everyone, she's the heiress.

Chyba hangs out until the triplets are ready to age up, and seriously, I could not be happier. This takes forever!

Of course, before they're done, the triplets throw one last curve ball into this mess. A cake catches on fire and nearly kills my newly declared heiress.

Číslo is so pretty.

Chléb is gorgeous too.

Really, I love all these kids. I can't get enough of them.

But it's time for the triplets to move out. They got a place together, and Chyba took over as heiress. Tune in next time for the start of Generation Danish!

Generation Czech, Chapter Five

Hello, and welcome to the new Around the World Legacy. Or, in Czech, Cesta Kolem Světa.
In this legacy, each generation will be named a word starting with their letter from a language starting with that letter; so a sim from generation C could be named Čína, the Czech word for China.

Last time on the Around the World Legacy, everyone was growing up.

And look what time it is! Another birthday here in the Alphabetacy household.

Chyba is a bit of a geeky teen, but a pretty teen none-the-less. She wants to go on vacation, and since the triplets are out of toddlerhood now...

...the family goes to France! Seeing the family all lined up like this, I can't help but notice the kids all have either mustard yellow hair or ketchup red!

Anyway, while her family buys souvenirs and chats up the locals, Chyba goes exploring in a tomb, doing her very best to look creepy.

This triplet, meanwhile, is off meeting French people. (Oh, right, she's Čaj, the purple one, color coding, riiiight.)
"You silly American tourists, you are ze garbage!"

"Oh, are you French?"
"Of course I am French, why else would I be speaking in zis re-DIC-ulous accent?"

"Welcome to France, ze city of lurve."
"Uh, I thought that France was a country..."
"What would you know, stupid American?!"

Despite her, err, initial troubles with the strange French kid, they actually get along quite well.

Because I am easily bored by having lots of teens running around, I decided I would try to find them all a mate, even the spares. This meant, of course, that much of the Paris trip was spent searching for age-appropriate young-men. Chyba only participated in part of this, since she was often in the tombs exploring. Poor Cvičitel probably spent half the vacation going up to strangers' homes and introducing herself, and I didn't even get a picture of it.

Časopis did much of the same thing, but somehow knocking on peoples' doors and saying, "hello, I am a tourist from distant shores, do you have any teenage daughters?" was not effective.

He did meet a lot of interesting people, but they were all older than he.

The vacation soon ended, since everyone was the lowest visa level (except Chyba, who got a higher level while she was there) but the family returned with lots of new treasures, including what they need to start their very own vineyard. My dream is for them to one day be able to open a store (come on, future business EP!) and sell their own wine - err, nectar.

Upon returning home, the teens are ready to head to the park with their mother. While she plays for tips, they go searching for teenage boys and girls.

The park is almost completely abandoned, and the people that are there are all female or elders. Časopis introduces himself to a few of the more normal looking residents, such as Candy Ashleydale, the babysitter...

...and Thea Wigglesworth, who just has a cool name.

He just missed out on meeting this young woman, who was suddenly rushed away to work. Her skin is blue, how cool is that? Even better, her surname is Green.

Finally there's this gal over here, who's a teenager but he is unable to flirt with her or do any sort of romantic interactions. Huh.

Cvičitel was briefly distracted by an elderly pink woman. She does have a son, as you can see inside the house, but he's a bit young for her.

The only man she meets all day is an adult already, and he's not great looking, either.

Alas, this is where I have to leave you. Next time, the spouse hunt continues, hopefully some birthdays will happen, and time moves on!
